Heidi Staloch is an attorney with Manty & Associates, P.A. For over thirteen years she has represented clients in creditors’ rights, including retail and commercial collections, replevins, foreclosures, and mechanics’ liens. Heidi closely monitors industry trends to help clients recognize the next opportunity or challenge that may arise. She excels at managing client placements by developing solid long-term action plans for successful recoveries. Her ability to zero in on what needs to be done and her business instinct for knowing just how to make that happen has been instrumental to achieving her winning reputation in the marketplace as a leader in the field.

As an active member within the creditors’ rights industry, Heidi frequently connects with her colleagues locally and nationally. She attends conferences, including those sponsored by the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA), the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA), and the American Collectors Association (ACA) and corresponding Members’ Attorney Program (MAP). Well versed in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Heidi is a frequent speaker on creditors’ rights topics at CLEs, as well as for collection professionals in trade associations and before law students at William Mitchell College of Law. She was recognized as a Rising Star in 2010 by Minnesota Law & Politics. Heidi has also worked to affect change with the Minnesota Legislature bringing together both creditor and consumer representatives to create “win-win” solutions both in theory and in practice. Her collaborative, forthright style, persistence, and desire to achieve workable and meaningful change by “shaking hands” at the same table set her apart as a highly praised leader.
Heidi was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Augsburg College, and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Heidi is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers, as well as the Minnesota, Hennepin and Ramsey County Bar Associations. While known as a passionate business and community leader, she has also completed several marathons, is raising three kids with her husband Mark and champions a healthy lifestyle focus for herself and those around her.
