Thayer A. Butler has practiced in the area of Consumer Bankruptcy law for 15 years and has represented a wide variety of debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. She conducts client interviews, and is responsible for obtaining and reviewing documents for all aspects of schedule preparation. Thayer represents clients at 341 meetings and motion hearings, is experienced in drafting pleadings and settlement documents in bankruptcy litigation related matters, and negotiates with creditors’ attorneys and bankruptcy trustees to obtain the best result for her clients. She has also previously practiced in the area of Creditor Rights and State Court Collection for one year, representing institutional lenders in state and federal courts, and researching bankruptcy and creditor’s rights issues.
